The studio worked with Dan Hoolahan Designs to assist him to make his first commercially available (belt and tie rack) design simpler to reproduce. To remove elements of the handcrafted and replace with industrially produced components which could be outsourced and produced quickly and in greater quantities to reduce cost in manufacture and to streamline the aesthetic. Discussions took place as to how to clean up the production of the hanging component of the work by designing a bespoke vector cut section to be riveted to the main “Mobius strip”. This resulted in a cleaner aesthetic and more industrially viable solution for this commercial design led product

Ilsa has helped me to understand design from a business perspective, in particular designing for retail. She has continued to be a reliable and valuable source of guidance and advice whenever I have needed it.
